Life and Beer: Growing Up and Sam Adams Noble Pils

This week I have been feeling more and more like a grown up. Of course, I'll never really grow up. But I have been feeling really great about my job. After nearly two years at my organization I am finally feeling like I know what I'm doing.

Most of life is pretending that I know what is going on or pretending that I can handle the situation. So actually feeling like I know what's going on and like I can handle situations is a welcome surprise.

This week I tried the new Samuel Adams Noble Pils. It is the new Spring Seasonal from Sam Adams. Previously, I would have listed the Victory Prima Pils as my favorite pilsner style beer. But this new Sam Adams pils is excellent. It is now my new favorite pils.

The smell is like an IPA: very hoppy. However, the flavor is sweet and delicate like a pilsner. It finishes dry and peppery. I didn't get tired of drinking this one. Beautiful.
